T-minus-14 days. I need a sleeping bag.

Hello again our faithful followers. We've added a 4th. It was only a matter of time before mom hopped on the bandwagon and joined in. Truth be told, mom's the reason that little brother Steve gets to join big brother Marc on this quest for gold. So kudos and thanks to the child-bearer of Two Brothers. One Jeep. Zero Pavement. And thanks in advance for not noticing that your laptop went for the ride to Utah so that we can keep this little bloggy thing going.
We're a mere two weeks away from pulling out of mom's driveway (the meeting point for Marc and I - or me, friggin' English language) and heading west for our adventure. Apparently Marc and mom went to the U.S.A. today to pick up parts for Marc's Jeep. Parts? I thought they were all there. Hmmm...
Marc emailed me a list of things I needed to bring. Warm and cold clothes? I can do that. Pillows? Got some. Sleeping bag? Hope there's a sale at Walmart tomorrow. Work gloves for trail fixes and handling winch cables? There's a pair in the back of my TJ but they're for keeping my hands warm when I scrape off the frost in the morning. Boots? Now I have to worry about my toes? This is getting complicated.
Two more weeks and we're on the road. Until we get to Moab, Utah. Then there are no roads. But getting there is half the fun, isn't it?
Two Brothers. One Jeep. Zero Pavement.
Someone should make us t-shirts.
Life is good.

The Thorup Brothers.

  3. Good luck boys! I think it is a wise decision to take the "jeepy" jeep with you. We will be watching in Atlanta. Make sure you take Mom's laptop so you can continue to blog for us.
