The boy. The Jeep. The legend.

Just brought home from being born and already wearing Jeep clothes, and brought home in a Jeep, to his Jeep-themed nursery, with his Jeep-loving parents. We've given Sean choices from day one. Of course he's now 7 months old and dad is taking off for 10 days with Uncle Marc to drive a Jeep across a continent and have an epic adventure that brothers only dream about, but at the same time I'll be missing out on 10 days of Sean growing up. And therein lies the rub - my adventure with my big brother and stories for Sean when he's older and climbing in his daddy's Jeep, or missing some growing time with the boy? I hope when Sean's old enough, he'll understand. He'll be driving my Jeep, so I'm pretty sure he'll get it.
So, what are the Thorup Brothers thinking? We're gonna drive a Jeep 2800km's (not counting detours) to some small town in Utah, then go and take the same Jeep off-road on trails that would make most people cringe at the mere thought of it, then try to drive it all the way back? That's completely insane. Unless you have Marc's Jeep. Then you're alright. Some brief deets on Marc's JK:
'08 Unlimited.
3 1/2" Teraflex suspension lift.
Quick discos.
Full under armour.
Rugged Ridge front and rear bumpers.
Big winch.
16x8 Crager's.
33" Hercules Trail Diggers.
Smittybilt SRC rock rails.
Hella lamps 'round the front.
Rock lights.
CB.
Full Nav system.
Other stuff that big brother Marc knows about but little brother Steve can't say it right.
Don't worry, Marc will let you know what the exact specs of his Jeep are. It's a beauty, a well built Jeep, and I can't wait to hop into the navigator's seat and head west to Moab and do some bonding and wheelin'.
Two Brothers. One Jeep. Zero Pavement.
The boy. The Jeep. The legend.
Continues.

Life is good.

The Thorup Brothers.
