The Background
Welly welly well...the followers of the Thorup brothers little blog continues to grow. We're up to three. Thanks random two folks that signed up! Feel free to leave comments - we want to know who you are...
For those interested, here's how we got to be Two Brothers. One Jeep. Zero Pavement. We'll keep it brief.
When we were toddlers we got a military Jeep toy for xmas (circa 1974 - I have pics). A little older, our cousins Scott and Colin had a G.I. Joe toy Jeep - set the stage. Somewhere in highschool our dad swapped his van with his co-workers Chevy Tracker for a weekend (not a Jeep - but fun in the sun), mom had a beauty '87 Blazer that Marc got stuck 4x4'n, then I had an '89 Suzuki Samurai (not a jeep but fun) in senior year, went out west and left Marc to beat up the Suz', came back and got a '78 CJ and beat that up, sold it and went back out west and took mom's Blazer for a few rides, came back to Ontario and bought a Fiero that blew up, got married, wanted another Jeep, Marc got an '08 JK (the one headed to Moab) so a week later Pauline (best.wife.ever.) got me an '08 JK then kept it for herself and made me buy my own Jeep ('01 TJ - best.wife.ever.) then Marc and I (or me if you want to get all technical English on me) talked hours on end about Jeeps and surfed Jeep Porn (it exists) and talked about Moab and Marc built his Jeep and wheeled it up north and wherever he could and talked about Moab and why did I have two Jeeps in my driveway and both were stock and never wheeled and then he was going to Moab and I have a new baby (Sean's beautiful - you gotta meet this kid - he's amazing) and could I go with him but I couldn't because I have a new baby (seriously - greatest boy ever - he's the best) and I was spending my free money on diapers and formula not lifts and bigger tires and it would be my entire vacation time for the whole year and then our mom stood up and said enough - Steven Bradley, you are going to Moab, Utah with your big brother Marc and that's that and then Pauline (greatest.wife.ever.) agreed and little Sean said ga-ah-ahh-koo-oo then pooped and then that was that.
Two Brothers. One Jeep. Zero Pavement.
That's my side of the story, anyway. Marc will let you in on his side soon enough.
